Solitude Adventurer

Description

Built in 2000 and comprehensively renovated in 2017, the Solitude Adventurer is a 36-metre aluminium-hulled catamaran engineered specifically for stability, speed, and comfort on Indonesia’s open-water crossings. Twin 1,380-horsepower engines give her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 23, letting her cover ground efficiently between remote dive sites while keeping the ride smooth. Limited to a maximum of 16–18 guests, she offers eight thoughtfully designed cabins — an expansive 25.6-square-metre master stateroom, six 11.8-square-metre deluxe twin cabins, and a family-friendly quad cabin — each fitted with large picture windows, en-suite bathrooms with vacuum-flush systems, individual climate control, and in-room safes. Her catamaran hull form was chosen deliberately for the demanding conditions of her cruising grounds: the current-swept channels of Raja Ampat, with its labyrinth of limestone islets and manta-filled bommies, and the dramatic volcanic walls of Komodo National Park, home to Komodo dragons above the waterline and pygmy seahorses below. Regional water temperatures run 27–30°C, with visibility frequently exceeding 25–30 metres in dry-season conditions; Raja Ampat is best from October to April and Komodo from May to October, giving divers a near year-round window somewhere within her range.
