Description

An award-winning fixture of Maldivian luxury diving, the 42-metre Blue Force One has set the benchmark for hotel-style liveaboards since joining the fleet in 2012. Up to 24 guests are hosted across 12 refined cabins — seven deluxe staterooms, two junior suites, a master cabin, and two opulent master suites complete with private jacuzzi tubs — each fitted with en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and every modern comfort. Topside, guests can unwind across three sun decks, two additional outdoor jacuzzis, an upper-deck bar, a lounge with a 65-inch screen, and even an onboard disco, while diving operations run from a dedicated 18-metre dhoni tender equipped with rinse tanks, gear stations, and its own nitrox compressor. Typical eight-day, seven-night voyages thread through the Central and Southern Atolls — North and South Male, Felidhoo, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu, and Huvadhoo — delivering around 18 dives filled with manta ray encounters, and, seasonally, whale sharks and hammerheads. The Maldives’ warm 27–30°C waters and air temperatures near 26–32°C are dive-friendly year-round, but conditions shift with the monsoon: the northeast dry season (November–March) brings the calmest seas and visibility often past 30 metres, while the southwest wet season (April–October) trades some clarity for the region’s spectacular plankton-driven manta and whale shark aggregations.
